¡°We carried out a turnkey project to build a Kubernetes-based private cloud to extract and store sensor data from the factory in real time, making it applicable for machine learning and more.¡±


Background

We introduced Arm servers to store and analyze data obtained from rolling mill PLCs.


Usage

Currently, they are utilized as storage servers, infrastructure configuration servers, and integrated management servers.


Benefits

The Kubernetes-based cloud was built on a turnkey basis to extract PLC data in real time for machine learning, enabling highly efficient operations.

V-Raptor¢â SQ is deployed in a redundant configuration to store and utilize data obtained from the PLC.

¡°It is also used as an infrastructure configuration server and an integrated management server.¡±

V-Raptor¢â LX is used as an infrastructure configuration server, and V-Raptor¢â SQ mini is used as an integrated management server.

¡°We built a private cloud so that data can be analyzed and applied to machine learning and other fields.¡±

A Kubernetes-based cloud was established so that data stored in V-Raptor¢â SQ can be analyzed in V-Raptor¢â LX.

¡°It operates stably even inside the factory, which is a harsher environment compared to a data center.¡±

Server racks were installed directly inside the factory without additional cooling facilities or power infrastructure reinforcement.
