¡°XSLAB's Arm servers generate so little noise and heat that they can be placed right inside the classroom during lectures.¡±

Background

We introduced low-noise, low-heat Arm servers that can be kept and used directly inside classrooms for Linux education.

Application

Currently, it is being utilized for server-side software education, such as Linux.

Key Outcomes

Thanks to the low-noise and low-heat characteristics, a mini server rack was built inside the classroom, allowing students to directly verify software running on the server.

¡°No disruptions during lectures.¡±

Standard servers are usually very noisy, making it impossible to place them in quiet spaces like classrooms. However, XSLAB's Arm servers utilize precise FAN control via BMC and a low-heat Arm architecture, causing no disruptions even when kept inside the classroom during lectures.

¡°It was a brand new experience for the students as well.¡±

Being able to immediately see the actual hardware running the software they are learning about provided a fresh and engaging experience for the students.
